FOX Sports is reportedly interested in bringing “Crow” star David Crow back to its network, with a new contract reportedly in the works.
Sources close to Crow told The Associated Press that the NFL Network is the preferred choice for Crow’s return, and that Crow has been in talks with FOX Sports about a new deal.FOX Sports will likely have the final say on Crow’s future, and a deal is possible with Fox, but it is unclear how much Crow will earn from the new deal or what it could entail.
FOX is currently home to the Cowboys, but has been looking to move away from Fox Sports this season as it moves into a prime-time slot.
Fox Sports has a long history of hosting NFL games, as Crow has appeared on the network multiple times since he joined the Cowboys in 2016.
In the past few years, Crow has become one of the most recognizable faces on the Fox Sports channel, appearing on commercials, documentaries and other programming.
The Cowboys’ season opener against the San Francisco 49ers was originally scheduled for Dec. 2, but Crow was pulled from the game due to a hamstring injury.
Crow missed the first four games of the season before returning on Oct. 9.
