Facebook to open up its ad inventory for adverts via its ‘Ad Manager’ app



Facebook has rolled out a new ad manager for its iOS app, which can automatically add ads to the user’s timeline as they browse the site.

The app allows users to create and manage ad campaigns and will automatically add them to their Timeline, and then add ads on the fly.

Facebook says it’s the first app to offer such an automatic feature.

The company says that the app will be available to users worldwide in the coming weeks. 

AdManager is available for free to users of the iPhone, iPad, and Android apps, and the Facebook Messenger app. 

The company will roll out the feature globally starting next week, Facebook says. 

“This new Ad Manager will make it easier to manage and share your ad campaigns across Facebook, and is a new way for advertisers to create new and exciting advertising experiences across their brands,” the company says.

“Users can now view and manage their ad campaigns from their mobile device or web browser.”

The app can also automatically add new adverts to the Timeline as they navigate the site, and will then automatically add more adverts when they return to the site or return to their mobile devices. 

It is currently available in beta on the Facebook App Store and Google Play. 

Users can also sign up to a trial for Ad Manager on the App Store, Google Play, or the Facebook website. 

Facebook is also introducing an “Ad Manager for Ads” section of the Facebook app, where users can see a list of adverts currently appearing on their Timeline and manage which adverts they want to view. 

According to the company, this will allow advertisers to better understand what their ads will appear on their timelines and how to create more effective ads, and to create ads that are both relevant to their audience and relevant to the audience’s interests.

“Ad Manager is a powerful new feature that makes it easier for advertisers and publishers to build more compelling ad experiences,” Facebook says of the new ad assistant. 

In addition to the new features, Facebook is also launching a new Facebook Ads API.

 The API allows advertisers to integrate with Facebook and integrate ads into their campaigns. 

As well as being able to add new advertising to a Timeline, users can now choose which ads they want display in the adverts and which will be hidden.
