By Football Italian staff A Roma defender has agreed a deal to join Borussia Mönchengladbach, according to reports.
Marco Asenio, 25, who is on loan at Roma from Roma and the Bundesliga side Borussia Monchenglav, will join on a permanent basis, according with Sky Sport Italia.
Roma and Borussia had been in talks for some time, but the deal has now been completed.
Roma, who finished third last season, are also hoping to complete the signing of midfielder Federico Bernardeschi in the coming days.
They will be without striker Andrea Barzagli due to the ongoing suspension of his current contract.
Roma will be relying on the 24-year-old Asensi, who scored a brace against Schalke 04 on Wednesday.
Asensio is currently on loan from Juventus at the moment.
